Tent pitches

Tent pitches: At Camp Hverringe you can lie in your tent and fall asleep to the sound of the waves. Our tent pitches are located in the top left corner of the map and all the way from the beach to the other end of the site. You can put your tent wherever you want and park your vehicle next to it as long as the fire brigade’s distance requirement is met, that is 3 meters between each unit. We also have tent pitches at the back of the site, next to our horse paddock. These pitches cannot be booked online.

Tent pitches with power:

We also offer tent pitches with their own power supply. These pitches are located in the south-east corner of the site and, unlike ordinary tent sites, they can be booked online. We also have tent pitches with power, with a spectacular view over the Great Belt. Tent pitches with power are highlighted in grey and all have a number in the 400s. During summer season, we also have tent pitches with power at the back of the site, next to our horse paddock. These pitches cannot be booked online.

Campervans pitches with view:

The pitches all have power and a table/bench set. They also have reinforced ground. However, there is no room for en extension tent on these pitches. If you’re looking to stay on one of these pitches with a caravan, you should be aware that, not only isn’t there room for an extension tent, but it is not possible to park your car on the pitch. It MUST be parked in our car park outside the gate.

Standard pitches:

All standard pitches on Camp Hverringe have power and are marked with red numbers on the map. All standard spaces are ca 10 x 10 meters and are distributed all across the campsite. Some standard spaces have a drain system, or running water and drain. Pitches with drain have a yellow background and those with water and drain a green background.

B pitches:

Camp Hverringe’s B pitches are for those who want to be in the first row to the playground or with a slightly better view than from a standard pitch. Some B pitches have a drain system or running water and drain. Pitches with drain have a yellow background and those with water and drain a green background. A few B pitches are also comfort pitches: they are ca 140 m2, which makes it possible to camp with a larger caravan. These pitches are marked with a grey background. Some standard spaces have a drain system, or running water and drain. Pitches with drain have a yellow background and those with water and drain a green background.

A pitches:

If you want to be close to the water, you have to book an A pitch. Camp Hvertinge’s A pitches are located in the south-east corner of the site, with a view on the sunrise over the Great Belt, or close to Bøgebjerg Beach. A pitches are marked in blue. Some A pitches have running water and drainage and some can be described as comfort pitches, which means that, in addition to water and drainage, they are at least 140 m2. These pitches are marked with a grey background. Yellow background means drainage, green background means water and drainage and grey background means comfort pitch.

A+ pitches:

If you want a 1st row pitch for the water, or if you just want to wake up to a lovely view, choose an A+ pitch. Some A+ pitches have a drain system, and a few of them have running water and drain. A yellow background marks a pitch with drainage, and a green background means water and drainage. Some of these can be described as comfort pitches, which means that, in addition to water and drainage, they are at least 140 m2. These are marked with a grey background. Yellow background means drainage, green background means water and drainage and grey background means comfort pitch.

The round marker on some pitches shows that the pitch is reinforced with two rows of tiles that you can drive upon. This means that these spaces are suitable for campervans.
