Camp Hverringe is animal-friendly and has special facilities so you can enjoy your holiday with your dog and / or horse.

Next to the paddock is our dog walking field where your four-legged friend can run freely. Dog waste bags are at your disposal, remember to use them! All other places on the campsite, in the woods and on the beach, dogs must be kept on leash.
Note: It is possible to stay in a cabin with a dog only in few cabins, please contact the reception if you would like to come with your dog.
VACATION WITH A HORSE
Camp Hverringe is one of Denmark’s campsites with the most free area! This means that it is also possible to take your horse with you when you are camping with us.
Camp Hverringe is located on the Hindsholm Peninsula, where the opportunities for some lovely horse rides on the small roads, in the beautiful countryside of the manor house, are plenty. You can ride to Viby for example, one of Denmark’s oldest and best preserved villages, or ride up Måle hill to enjoy a fantastic view over the Great Belt and Romsø.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION ABOUT HORSES
We have a paddock with water where the horses can move freely, and right next to it there is a field where you can set up your tent so you can sleep next to the horses.
Price for 1 horse on pasture: 50 DKK per day.
We can also accommodate riding groups. You can camp in your own tent or rent our tipis located close to the paddock. Please contact the reception at 65301052 or info@camphverringe.dk for more information about this.
